Do you want to help us to improve the lives of the Families of El Limón? The profit is for the families and to improve children's education. This is a social project with the NGO Projects for Children. El Salto del Limon is a waterfall in the middle of a valley in the province of Samaná (Dominican Republic). The Walk lasts around 2h (1h one way + 30min return + 30min relax). you will walk along a hike beginner level path, explaining the local tree species (pineapple, coconut, cocoa, almonds) and seeing and tasting its fruits. You can swim in the two waterfalls and take pictures. On the way back, you will be able to eat typical food (rice with chicken, beans and salad) with a family from the community and learn how these powerful women live from their natural environment. Discover Sosua's Underwater World
Enjoy the underwater world in Sosua, we will explore two different Snorkeling reefs. We provide with the snorkeling equipment and a snorkeling guide. We offer pick up from your hotel in Sosua and Cabarete. From Puerto Plata it is easy to use Uber if you don´t have your own transportation. Please remember to bring your towel, swim wear and sunscreen lotion. We start from Sosua Bay, where crystal clear warm water and a 1 km long sand beach welcomes you. You will get your mask, fins, inflatable snorkel vest and instructions before we get into the water, our first snorkeling spot is Three Rocks and Sosua Bay for our second reef. After enjoying the Mano Juan Beach and conservation of turtles, we will take the speed boat in direction to Abanico Beach, this beach is one of the most beautiful inside Saona Island, here we will have lunch and drinks, and time for relax in the beach, take pictures and enjoy the nice color of the water, this is one of the most beautiful beach in the world. At the end of the afternoon, we will visit La Palmilla Natural Pool and see starfish, return to Bayahibe Port in our Speed Boat, and after we will drive to Punta Cana, Bavaro. Hiking Tabernacle thundering waterfall
**If the app won't let you book it, contact me or go to laextours(dot)com** Looking for things to do in Santo Domingo? Join me in my favorite hike in Dominican Republic: El Tabernáculo. Difficulty level: -Medium; when you're fit/water level is low (dry/cold season) -High; when you're not fit/water level is high (wet/hot season) It is completely doable in all scenarios. You must not have any injuries, don't need to be an athlete either! (If you want a more challenging experience, book 'Hiking DR's most impressive waterfall') LGBTQ+ friendly experience/vegetarian acommodating. Pickup included in Santo Domingo. We depart at 6am (pick up might start up to 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights of the mountains to get to the town where we are having a typical dominican breakfast. After breakfast, we begin our journey. It's a 3 to 4-hour route within hiking, swimming, climbing, etc. Swimming is mandatory (no need to know how to swim, you'll have a life vest). Water is cold. You can leave your bags in the car while hiking. After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. We will meet at our local fishermen dock where we will start our adventure and then we will visit a local market, local shops, walk inside of the neighborhood, eat local and authentic breakfast, visit a typical house, eat (helado de fundita), visit the neighborhood’s sign and interact with the locals. We will also ride the Santo Domingo’s cable car, where you will see a good amount of colorful neighborhoods from above all the way from the national district to Northern Santo Domingo, hear their history, and also ride the Santo Domingo’s train. Then back to the meeting point. Additional: A boat ride can be included at an additional charge passing underneath six of the most important bridges in Santo Domingo, seeing the tree where Christopher Columbus tied up his ships during his visits to Santo Domingo, first university in America Christopher Columbus son’s castle, first chapel built in America and the jail where Christopher Columbus was incarcerated.

Discover with me the nature of the beautiful micro rainforest, the history of the aboriginal people that once used the caves, take a ride in the man pulled raft to discover the hidden 4th lake. La Isla Saona no es un destino más, la Isla Saona tiene 110 kilómetros de costa pura y hermosas playas de fina arena blanca, es parte fundamental del Parque Nacional Cotubanamá y es el hábitat natural de infinidad de especies marinas y terrestres, animales, peces y aves migratorias endémicas, entre las especies que habitan la Isla Saona. A las 9:30 nos reuniremos frente a nuestra oficina desde donde comenzará nuestra aventura. Alrededor de las 10 de la mañana subirán al Catamarán con barra libre y música para iniciar su travesía hacia la Isla Saona por el Mar Caribe, a mitad de la navegación tendrán una parada de 45 minutos en la hermosa piscina natural , una vez pasado el tiempo, avanzarán su travesía hasta llegar a la Isla Saona donde disfrutarán de unas 3 horas 30 minutos. Allí le estará esperando un almuerzo buffet caliente en la playa y muchas tumbonas para relajarse. Aproximadamente a las 16:00 horas embarcará en una lancha rápida para regresar a Bayahibe sobre las 17:00 horas.

Lo primero que árenos es buscarlo en su lugar de alojamiento para ir hasta Bayahibe de donde saldrá el Catamaran. Nota: El barco sale aproximadamente 10:30 am , llegada a la isla aproximadamente 1:00pm . Tiempo en la isla aproximadamente 2 horas . Una vez estemos en Bayahibe Tomaremos una lancha rápida para iniciar el viaje a la Isla Saona por el Mar Caribe. Vamos hacer de una parada en la hermosa Piscina Naturalmente hasta llegar a Isla Saona. • Disfrutaremos de la Isla donde también nos espera una rica comida típica dominicana hecha con amor por los habitantes de la isla la cual podrán disfrutar en frente de la playa Virginia de la Isla saona. Luego vamos abordar un hermoso catamarán para regresar a Bayahibe. En el catamarán, disfrutaremos. de la fiesta, bebidas ilimitadas, snacks y el baile con nuestra animación durante todo el camino. Cuando lleguemos a la Bayahibe nuevamente nuestro transporte lo estará esperando para llevarlo de regreso a su hotel o lugar de alojamiento.

Fantastic Adventure to Hidden Waterfall and Historical Cave
Join us to visit this beautiful hidden waterfall in the greenest province of the entire Dominican Republic, Monte Plata. This is a 20-meter-high natural monument located in Bayaguana, where we will enjoy the clean air, the spectacular views, and the great flora that surrounds this wonderful waterfall. We will meet at the meeting point in the morning, to go to the waterfall 50 minutes from Santo Domingo, enjoying the landscapes that the road gives us, while we have breakfast on board. Along the way, we will talk about the history of the island, beautiful places in the DR and get to know each other better. When we arrive at the Cascada, Doña Ramona will wait for us, who will cook our traditional Dominican lunch (al carbon), as they used to cook in the 1900's on our island. Once ready, we will walk for around 15 minutes and we will go into the jungle to reach the beautiful hidden waterfall. It is a steep path but not difficult to cross, (I recommend comfortable shoes to avoid falling) We will explore the waterfall, take photos in it, enjoy the water and the beauty of nature for about two and a half hours and then return to the starting point to enjoy our lunch, chat, rest, and then start out trip back to Santo Domingo stoping by un the three eyes cave learning about history and this fantastic place an beautiful nature monument, after that we gonna head to out meeting point.

Let's meet at a local colmado (or coffee shop if you prefer) and get to know each other, I have found the best time starts when there is confidence so let's start with that, I will also share important information about Dominican Republic and the lifestyle. Now, let's walk towards La Tarazana! On the way we will stop at the main attractions, the best bars to cool down, and other hidden gems. Main places that we will be visiting: - Santa Regina Church - Maraca Restaurant and bistro - Duarte Park - The Cathedral - Museum of Sugar and Cane rooftop - Fortaleza Ozama - La Tarazana - House of Rum Bar and museum I grew up in this area and is my favorite area of the city to party and hang out with friends/family so I know it well. I have lived in Mexico, France, Turkey, US, and Switzerland so I have a lot of friends from different nationalities who have visited and loved the experience, always thanking me for being their guide and having a great time. Dominican Culture Around the Fogón
We will walk throught the "Sendero del Eden" where we will see trees and a beautifull cave named "La Cueva del Eden", here we will go into the Cave and observe the stalactites and stalagmites. Then we will visit our Fogón where we will grind cocoa, make casava like our ancestors and roast coffee. After that... We will take you to cave brujuela so you can swim under ground , a space with 15 meters below, with natural water, while you wait for the food to be prepared in the fogon. At the end we will have a surprise for everyone!!! To enjoy!!! Other things to note We will be outdoors, the caves are rocky so we must have safe closed shoes, sunscreen and repellent, we will use stairs, and we will have access to parking, bathroom and shower.
