During the summer months, enjoy a walk or bike ride on the Truckee River bike path, located just a few miles from the home. Conveniently located near the home is a bike rental location where you can rent bikes in the summer, or tune your skis and snowboards in the winter. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas such as Truckee which is 14 minutes away. Or head into Tahoe City is less than a 10-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers' markets, live music, and a big sandy beach with a great park and lakeside walkway. With its easy access to ski resorts, bike paths, and the river, this cabin is a great home base for the ultimate Tahoe getaway any time of the year.
