Highland Hugs

Though it shows 9-10 and 6-7, the morning adventure and evening picnic are both 2hr experiences and 120$. The afternoon calf cuddle is 1hr-65$ Visit and connect with the Scottish Highland cow. You can get close to this docile breed: pet, scratch, brush and even hug these magnificent beasts. They love it as much as you will. For the adventure tour book the two hr slot that reads 9-10 120$. I let the cows out at nine. We go with them for forest bathing as they browse in the woods. We might identify some edibles and incorporate into a snack later. We will be out for about one hour. Then we will come back for some cuddles with the calves.This experience will require sure footedness, heavy clothes, mosquito protection, and hiking boots. Mostly trail less with some heavy brush. This experience is the best way to share our lifestyle with you. Book the 1 hour calf cuddle experience from 2-3 65$ where you will spend time with the calves and possibly see the fold as they return. This is a good choice for an introduction and great feel good memories. For those that just want to chill picnic style with calves in the pasture and leisurely visit with the cows book the 6-7pm. Again, this is 2hrs. 120$. Interesting snacks served for you to try. With bellies full in the evening the cows are mellow. This is the best time to get up close and personal with them.

Meet the Mountain Horses of Kentucky

**NOTICE** At this time you can only book a "Private Group" tour. The private group rate covers 1 to 3 people but an additional guest (a 4th) can be added at the per person rate listed. *Reservations for larger groups may be available upon request. Please message us about availability. We take guests into the mountains of Kentucky Appalachia by vehicle, guided by local, trained guides, to see and meet the free-roaming horses of Kentucky. Some horses are tame, others are feral. We have given guides extensive safety training and all are familiar with horses. The Guides also provide cultural and historic background of the area during the 30 minute ride up the mountain. While encountering the herds, our guides first make sure there are not too many horses around the vehicle so that no one gets too close. This is usually not the case, as the feral horses do not come close and the tame ones are friendly and usually don't get too pushy. The total tour is approximately 3 hours. We offer a money back guarantee if you do not see any horses, but our guides know the mountains and where the horses hang out, so that has never happened. Guests can appreciate that the majority of tour fees go towards our hay, feed, and vet fund. *If you enjoyed your experience please tip your tour guide if you are able to do so. Thank you!

Manchac Magic Kayak Swamp Tour

Our Manchac Magic Kayak Tour will start with pickup from N Rampart St. New Orleans, LA *(Look for van marked Wild Louisiana Tours)* Depending on the day, our tours start at 9:00AM, 12:00PM, and 3:00PM. Morning Tour Pickup: 9AM Afternoon Tour Pickup: 12PM Evening Tour Pickup: 3PM The drive to our tour location is 30-40min. We will make a bathroom stop, if people need it, at a gas station near our launch. You are welcome to bring your own water and snacks, or get some from the gas station. We will begin our tour through the beautiful and scenic Manchac Swamp. Your guide will tell you all about the wildlife and historical significance of the area. We will stop in scenic locations and take pictures and relax under the cypress trees. The tour will last about 2hrs depending on the skill level of the group. We will return to our launch site and load our boats. We will then return to N Rampart St. to conclude the trip. Other things to note: -Gratuities for guides are not included. 20% is a baseline/standard for the tourism industry. -We still go out in the rain as long as it is not dangerous to guests. Lightning, fire, etc. It is good to bring a raincoat just in case.
