Hip and Trendy Bars and food. Can get a little rowdy when it gets too late however, its a popular local spot on the weekends! Our favorites are: Beer Kitchen - Fries, burgers, beer, and a Mac and Cheese that will blow your mind. Denver Biscuit Co./Fat Sully's - Killer biscuit sandwiches and shares a kitchen with a great NY style pizza spot. Providence Pizza - Some of the best pizza KC has on offer, does by the slice and whole pies.

Midtown-Westport is an eclectic area, known for the Westport entertainment area, with festive brewpubs, DJ bars and retro-chic diners serving American comfort food. During the day, the scene centers on trendy fashion boutiques. Neighboring Midtown has historic buildings like the Thomas Hart Benton Home, with tours of the painter’s studio and gardens. Trails wind through nearby Roanoke Park, encircled by bluffs.

Westport is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Kansas City, located roughly between 39th Terrace and 43rd Street to the north and south and Main Street and the SW Trafficway to the east and west. Originally called West Port, the neighborhood got its name as it was the westernmost village where settlers stocked up before venturing into the Kansas Territory. Today the neighborhood is known for its blend of tasty eateries, trendy boutiques and popular nighttime hot spots. By day Westport buzzes with residents and tourists, but really comes to life at night as the restaurants and bars fill up. Although much of “West Port” is long gone, today’s Westport continues to charm and entertain modern-day explorers.
