Our remodeled Adirondack barn is an open rustic space where you can relax and reconnect with nature in the most natural and comfortable way. It’s within ~20-30 minutes driving distance to areas of interest such as Lake placid, White face and Van Hovenburg ski centers, hiking trails, Swim holes for summer or for skating in winter, trails for backcountry skiing, snowshoeing and many more... Our space provides the warmth where you can enjoy your gateaway while still feeling a sense of being home.

The rustic barn has open floor plans upstairs and down; odorless, waterless composting toilet; separate shower room; patio w/ fire-pit, and wood-fired stove. Upstairs, the communal sleeping space has queen and twin beds suitable for a family or CLOSE friends. 7 minutes from downtown. Well-equipped kitchen, yet no dishwasher. For a couple who are looking to get away in the Adirondacks, this is a unique and appealing option. The house is 3.5 miles from the town of Essex, NY in the Champlain Valley. Gorgeous view of the Green Mountains to the east and farm land all around. The location is convenient to many attractions!
