It's the ideal location to enjoy a relaxed holiday and also be close to all the famous attractions! Geniet van de rust, het uitzicht, ruime badkamer met douche en bad of ga op avontuur met de kano de polder in. Het Weidehuisje voelt als een afgelegen privé paradijs, maar ligt verrassend centraal in Noord-Holland. Of je nu wil fietsen, wandelen, vissen, vogels spotten, dorpen ontdekken of gewoon even helemaal niets doen. Dit is de plek waar je op adem komt.

Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.
