It's a cozy 3 bedroom with a generous side garden on a tree lined street within easy walking distance to the shops + restaurants of downtown Almonte as well as biking and walking trails. It's been lovingly renovated and furnished with loads of antique finds that make for an authentic + homey feel. 30 minutes to Ottawa, 2.5 hours to Montreal, 4 hours to Toronto.

Welcome to the historical Perth area. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our rural setting, close to amenities but surrounded by the sounds of the countryside. Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. We are just 30 minutes from world class downhill skiing and whitewater rafting.

For cyclists, we are located just off the OVRT. Electric car owner? There is a charging station just 100m from the house.
