The Stables - Tunstead Cottages Enjoy the peace of the Norfolk countryside. Our rural, dog friendly cottage on the outskirts of Tunstead. Close to the Norfolk Broads and the coast, yet only 30 minutes from the city of Norwich. The Stables is on an old farm on the outskirts of Tunstead village. In a peaceful part of rural Norfolk with views of the big Norfolk skies, farmland and fruit fields. Cottages have a pool but its on private hire and booking is separate also has a shared games room.

Damson Cottage takes it’s name from the Damson trees growing around it, which are laden with fruit in late summer. It’s a calm relaxing place to be with lots of natural light streaming in. Crossing Retreat is a timber clad modern barn which has been renovated to give guests a taste of the countryside with a quirky twist. The large bi-folding doors along one side of the Retreat allow guests to open up their living space to the outdoors, perfect for those warm evenings. In the cooler months it provides a great source of light, enabling guests to take in the surrounding fields which provide lovely views. The projector and pool table are super additions to keep you entertained.

The Cosy Cart Shed is a perfect retreat for couples or friends looking for relaxation in the Norfolk countryside. Located in the village of Buxton, in an off-road setting on a picturesque working farm. The Cart Shed is situated close to the wedding venues of Hautbois Hall and Oxnead Hall (which has a direct walking route from the guesthouse). Buxton village is located on the River Bure, perfect for fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding, dog walking and watching the local wildlife.

It offers 4 large bedrooms, a beautiful double vaulted kitchen/dining room, a spacious living room with a cosy wood burner, a snug, 3 bathrooms and a W/C. The floors are natural limestone with underfloor heating throughout. Oak Barn has two outdoor seating areas, a sunny court yard and a fully enclosed lawned garden.

Charming boathouse, Norfolk Broads

The Boat House is a wonderfully unique space which sleeps 2 in one bedroom/sitting room overlooking the Broad. Fully centrally heated, it has a kitchenette, wet room and a summer house. A pub and cafe are a short walk away. Hot tub rental (£85 per stay) available. We also have storage for bikes and there is a launching area for canoes and paddleboards a 5 minute walk away at the moorings.

Beautiful self-contained, spacious, Scandi inspired wood cabin, nestled in the large peaceful garden of a 450 year old cottage. Full amenities to make your get-away as comfortable and cosy as possible. HOT TUB, FIRE-PIT and BBQ included! We are happy to allow children if accompanied by an adult as long as it is understood there is only the one double bed and a cot available on request.
