Rent canoes or kayaks to float down the scenic Rock River. Walking distance from our home is Park West with a trail, tennis courts, play area, splash pad and a sledding hill. Downtown Oregon's restaurants, bars and stores are a short drive or a pleasant walk. For business travelers, the Byron plant, Woods, Etnyre and KSB Hospital are short drives.

GOOSE ISLAND CABIN -Secluded Riverside Eco-Retreat

Nestled along the banks of the Rock River under tall oaks, ye ol cabin was built by early settlers in 1907. Legit rustic charm. Secluded yet only 10 mins from the fun town of Oregon. 100 acres of private property, bordering Lowden-Miller State Forest. Includes use of canoes/kayaks, large riverfront yard, grills, hammocks, deck, porch and firewood. $33/night per person or pet after first 2 people. Beautifully restored 1892 apartment in the heart of Morrison's national historic district offers Victorian elegance with many modern conveniences. Lil House On The Prairie (LHOTP) is aptly named because it’s located on the edge of Nachusa Grassland’s 1,000 acre south Bison pasture. The 100+ herd of free ranging Bison can often be viewed right along the boundary fence to the west! This recently remodeled two bedroom cottage can sleep six with two queen size beds and with a pull out sofa bed. LHOTP offers a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to base your adventures from. Behaved dogs & responsible owners welcome!

Shelby’s garden cottage.

Shelby’s cottage has been part of Bluffs on the bend farm for over 65 years. It has undergone a complete overhaul and update with all the modern conveniences while retaining a country cottage charm. It is the perfect getaway for a couple. The location is next to the historic ( originated in 1924 ) Kilbuck Bluffs Forest Preserve. While being nestled in the country it is centrally located to restaurants , bars and shopping.

Silo on the Canal

This tiny house is located three walking blocks from the Village of Utica. Located on the edge of a hayfield, guests will be able to watch deer in the evening and see the chickens free range the farm. The silo is attached to the tiny house and creates a master bedroom. Kitchenette, queen bed and a bathroom give guest privacy while being close to town.
