The Appleton Retreat is a short scenic drive to Belfast, Camden and Rockland. Braeburn at The Appleton Retreat is down a 1/2 mile driveway, on 120 acres of private land, bordered by a 1,300 acre Nature Conservancy reserve. A 25 minute trail leads to a large secluded pond, perfect for a refreshing swim. Braeburn feels like a treehouse, with expansive windows, overlooking woods and wildlife. After a hike, grilling on the porch or dinner out, indulge in your private therapeutic year round hot tub.

Room B is a small (10’ x 10’) but cozy room with full size bed with luxury mattress and private bathroom (5’ x8’) with towel warmer & glass shower. The room includes a desk, TV, minifridge, microwave, coffee maker, dresser, reading chair & private entrance. In the summer we have bicycles to use on the rail trail and kayaks for the Kennebec River. Year round hot tub. Downtown is just a block away where there are numerous restaurants and pubs with live music. Hiking trails & waterfalls nearby.

Located between Boothbay, Damariscotta, & Wiscasset, 1 mile from Route 1 and 27, on 13 acres, abutting 100s of acres of preserve land - provides the best of both worlds - woods rich with abundant birds, but less than 15 minutes from restaurants, shops & activities, plus, dedicated WiFi /2 Smart TVs. Dogs welcome, no cats due to allergies.

Stella the Studio Apartment

Stella is a cabin-style, pet-friendly studio apartment on 100 acres of wooded property. Enjoy the property's amenities (trails, kayaking, canoeing, axe throwing, wood-fired pizza oven) and return to your comfortable space with a hot tub, power, heat, and plumbing! Stella is located at the start of the land, above our storage building, has plenty of parking and can be reached with 2wd vehicles. This is a new space, exterior is unfinished. The hot tub is an Aqualiving 3 person lounge!

Located at the heart of downtown Augusta, this 2 bedroom apartment is a wonderful choice when visiting Augusta Maine with another couple or if you just want more room then your average hotel! Overlooking Kennebec River, Riverside is a perfect setting. Open 365 days per year; 2BR, 1 BA, kitchen, DR/common area. Situates 4 comfortably, 6 with the use of couches, 8 with added use of floor mattresses. Renovated, open concept, our home is wheelchair accessible. We accept Service dogs and will consider family dogs and other pets on a case-by-case; please ask. Owners reside on property in separate building. Outdoor trail cameras in use to monitor exterior of residence only.

Our cell service is terrific, but there's no tv or wifi...come to the woods & unplug!
