This cozy cabin is located in Crawford County, Michigan, known for its military & State owned land. 60% of the county is available for recreation including ORV and snowmobile trails, XC skiing, kayaking, biking and hiking. The cabin is surrounded by ORV and snowmobile trails. It is centrally located in the northern part of the lower peninsula for easy day trips to areas such as Mackinac Island and Traverse City. Higgins lake, with a small beautiful beach is just a 5 minute drive from the cabin.

Our little getaway just under an acre & offers plenty of room for tents, boats & toys. 1st floor bdrm has a queen bed w/window air unit, loft has full bed & full futon w/window air unit, we remove units in the cooler months. bathroom has tub/shower, & kitchen has full amenities. Cabin accommodates 6+ people. Our cabin is a great place whether you are coming up to enjoy the lake, Mackinaw Island, Traverse City, the Fall color tours, hunting, or winter activities.

Please note that our family-owned canoe rental operates on the property during daytime hours, adding a fun and lively riverfront atmosphere. Evenings are wonderfully peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the sunset, and experience the quiet side of Northern Michigan.
