The Mill House Retreat is a 2 story loft set in a park like setting next to the Sugar River. Built in 1864, this stone grist mill has soaring 15ft ceilings, original fittings and luxurious finishes. Hidden gem offers a great place to unplug and unwind, while still remaining close to lots of destinations and activities- including Paoli, New Glarus, Verona (Epic), and Downtown Madison. Nearby Belleville has access to Ice Age Trail, Sugar River, and Lake Bellevue. If visiting in the winter time, we recommend brining a vehicle with 4WD or AWD, as our driveway is quite steep and can be slick as snow packs up.

We love giving our guest privacy but may run into you as we are enjoying the weather as often as we can with our kids running around enjoying their childhood.
