This is a working Texas Longhorn Ranch, this apartment is separate from the house, with entry private. Has a small wet bar, Living area looks out to pasture and has a sleep sofa, small kitchenette, with refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster. Bathroom has shower big enough for two. The ranch has a private gated entry. We are a working ranch so if you inquire and we don'trespond for 6 or 8 hours it is noisy on tractor and around cattle so be patient. Quiet country setting only 3 miles from Downtown Huntsville, 4.5 miles from SHSU, 1 mile from Walker County Fair . Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

The Texian Cabin

Enjoy a unique 1700 sqft Texas themed log cabin in the woods! This 1.5 story home, located on a small family farm, has three bed rooms and two bathrooms with an open living room, dining area and kitchen. Toast marshmallows under the stars, grill burgers on the fire pit, play horseshoes or corn hole, lead your own yoga with our goats, collect eggs from the chickens, relax in a hammock, play tetherball, wander the woods, or head inside and dance to classic Texas country on the record player.

‘Haus House’ Studio is a 440 sq ft standing alone bungalow in a very quiet location yet close to all lake activity and great places to eat. The studio has a queen bed, wardrobe, living area, tv and WiFi. It has a kitchenette with a dining table for 2, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom has a nice marble shower. There is an outdoor seating area for down time and relax. While we live on the property, you have your own privacy, but if you need us we are close by.

You will find a vast collection of books both rare and of great value to feast your imagination and curiosity. This cozy haven, though adorned with swords and weapons of the great heroes of old, serves as a reminder that it is the little things that keep the darkness at bay, “small acts of kindness and love”.
