Our camp is off road, off grid, on the edge of the BWCA. 2 cabins, sauna, outdoor kitchen pavilion, fire pit, beach and dock on Fall Lake near Ely. 20 minutes to town, 3 million acres of wilderness out the door. Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

Grab your morning coffee, tea, or hot cocoa & savor the sunrise over Lake Superior! This updated space offers amazing lakefront views, seated atop a rocky cliff. Superior Lakefront Cabin - Beach - Trail Access

Lakefront cabin located at the site of historic Captain's Cove Boat Tours. The interior has been newly renovated to include modern fixtures and finishes to an open floor plan that maximizes the breathtaking views of Lake Superior. For epic panoramas of the lake head out to the yard for a hot cocoa by the bonfire, or a glass of wine at the charming deck on the bluff's edge. Or take the path down to the private beach featuring 280' of pebble and sand shoreline. Access to bike and hiking trails.

In the evening the full kitchen is a dream for a foodie, or head fifteen minutes to a brewery. Before bed put up your feet, play a game, read a book, or doze by the fireplace’s heat.

Take your pups swimming in the lake, enjoy a backyard bonfire, venture out for seasonal activities, or stay in and admire the views!

The cottage. built in 1935 by the Crofts, has been modernized and enlarged to be used all year around. Grand Marais is known as Artsy-it is reflected by the local art on the walls. Close to activities summer and winter you can choose to be busy or laid back and just enjoy the lake, the sun, the stars....and maybe a storm! Welcome to Shoreside!

Off Grid cabin, Cozy, warm up by the fire.

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooded acres. A short hike over the Sucker River on a storybook foot bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin. You will need to be physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.

Nestled along 540ft of rocky beach, Inn Suite #5 provides spectacular views and sounds of Superior. This romantic, two story suite has a main level living room and well-equipped full-size kitchen plus an upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The living room features a private entry, wood fireplace, plush futon, dinette, and window seat. The bedroom has a cozy gas stove, luxurious queen bed, and spa soaking tub for 2. Inn Suite #5 sleeps up to 4 people (2 on the futon).
