Black Fork River Cabin is located right on the river with lots of room between the cabin and river for you to lounge out in the sun and play in the water. Perfect location to start your kayak trip. This cabin is centrally located in a county that has lots to offer, Canaan Valley and Timberline Ski Resorts. Blackwater Falls state park. Five rivers to choice from for kayaking and fishing. Also Atv and Utv friendly town so bring your buggies Also located beside a city park with a Splash Park.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). I do have a 50.00 pet fee per dog up to 2 dogs only. It is located just above the entrance to the Smoke Hole Canyon with great fishing, beautiful scenery along the paved country curvy road. You can drive through the canyon and come out on Rt 28 just below the Smoke Hole caverns and gift shop. Then continue to Seneca Rocks and hike the rocks or drive to Nelson Rocks for zip lining.

Elkins is known for the Mountain State Forest Festival, Mountain Rails WV Train Rides, Trout Fishing, Ramps & Rails Festival, Augusta Heritage Festival, etc.

"Trout & About" Cabin located in Bemis, WV is the perfect place to unplug & enjoy the Appalachian Mountains located just 50 ft off the banks of the Shavers Fork River. Come enjoy fishing, swimming, hiking to Mule Hole & take a train ride to High Falls. Drive over the hill to Glady you will find the walking & bike trails of the West Fork Rail Trail. Come disconnect and unwind while taking in the beautiful WV mountains and fresh air. Please note there is NO cell service in the area.

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.

Glady Hideaway

Glady Hideaway is a quaint one room cabin perfect for two wishing to escape the chaos and spend some time one on one. Here, you can stay “unplugged” if you desire. Wi-Fi is now available but please note connection can be unreliable and slow at times in the mountains. The surrounding area offers many outdoor activities and charming mountain towns to explore. AWD/4WD is required from early December to March.
