Relax on the patio with a glass of wine and observe the wildlife,birds, deer, fox, javelina ~ just to name a few. In a short 3 minute drive you will be in downtown Marathon where you will find shopping at Front Street Books, Evans Gallery and Pitaya Verde. Stop by the famous White Buffalo Bar for an award winning margarita. Just a 45 minute drive to the entrance of Big Bend National Park where you will find incredible hiking, river rafting, bike riding as well as an opportunity to cross over into Mexico and Boquillas.

Nestled against a quiet hill and overlooking the Eastwood Mesa, our trio of stucco casitas offers a serene retreat 17 minutes from Big Bend National Park. Each one-room adobe casita is a blend of simplicity and comfort. Featuring minimalist interiors and distinctive arched doors amid desert scenery. We recently added basic cooking utensils, pots, pans and a one burner induction stove top. You can rent 1, 2 or all 3 of the casitas on property. Message us if you need help with a property buyout.

The Kanga house sports a large covered deck with great views, full kitchen, 3 piece bathroom and a covered carport. (Seasonal Hot tub/Cool Pool is available for extra fee) Enjoy the incredible views, fantastic star gazing, two semi-wet creeks to hike just out your backdoor, very quiet property. Sunset Ranch is an acre lot at the far southeast corner of Marathon, TX that backs up to the ranch land facing south that provides unobstructed views of sunrises and sunsets from the 700 sf covered porch. Marathon is a quaint west Texas town with a public park, gardens, restaurants and shopping. It also has a level 1 night sky rating for star gazing. Located 40 minutes from Big Bend National Park entrance, this is a launch point to explore the national park and other parks and communities.

Climate controlled! What is a Yurt? Yurts originated in Mongolia. The Mongolian people were nomadic, and they took their homes (yurts) with them as they tended to, and traveled, with their livestock. Today yurts are built on a platform & consist of two thick layers of canvas with a layer of insulation in between, and most notably a domed skylight at their center. 5 mins to Alpine, 30 mins to Fort Davis, Marfa, and Marathon. Big Bend Park, Terlingua, & Lajitas are roughly 100 miles away.
