Unwind on the deck and take in the beauty of the Texas Hill Country in this west Austin retreat. This guesthouse is surrounded by nature and wildlife with easy lake access and great hiking trails nearby. Enjoy the roll-up door to bring the outside in and extend the living room onto the deck. If you're looking for a relaxing 5-star experience, this is your place! If you love the outdoors, you will love this place. We built it in an effort to bring the outdoors in. You can raise the glass "garage door" to have a beautiful view of nature and hear the wet weather creek running. You may even spot a deer or fox. It has a cozy king bed and we can also provide a luxury blow up mattress. This is a standalone guest house completely separate from the main house with it's own private driveway. You will have full access to explore the entire property and nearby hiking trails My wife and I are happy to hang out and provide advice on the best places to explore in Austin. However, if you want privacy you will never have to see us. There is a keypad on the front door, so you will have easy access with a key code and the entire transaction can occur through AirBNB. The home is in a very private neighborhood with lots between two and ten acres. The area is secluded and private, yet only 12 miles to downtown, two miles to Lake Austin, 8 miles to Lake Travis, and less than 10 minutes from a range of restaurants. Most people bring their car, but Uber is another great ways to explore Austin from this property. You can also ride your bike to Lake Austin (but you better be in shape to ride back up the hills) The home is in a very private neighborhood with lots between two and 10 acres. The area is secluded and private, yet only 12 miles to downtown, two miles to Lake Austin, 10 miles to Lake Travis, and less than 10 minutes from a range of restaurants.

Dine on the Porch at a Cozy Cottage

Large back yard which is next to a Longhorn Ranch. Relaxing to sit on the back porch and watch the wildlife or the kids playing Guests have access to the entire house, back porch and large private back yard. There is a side area with a table and chairs in the shade which is a great space for coffee in the morning. The front is mainly for parking. We live on the same 6 acre property. Although you can't see our house from the cottage we are close by if you need something. The cottage is not in a neighborhood; it is on a six-acre property next to a longhorn ranch. It is near Buda, which has coffee shops, restaurants, wonderful parks. Southpark Meadows is also conveniently located nearby. There is parking in the front of the cottage for 3 cars. If you require additional parking or parking for an RV just give us a call and we will show you where to park larger vehicles. The closest public transportation is available in Southpark Meadows.That is a shopping center about 5 miles away. Public transportation is not available in our area.

This 2 bedroom, recently-renovated home features comfortable king beds, a fully-stocked kitchen, and a large covered porch on 2 acres with beautiful oak trees. Pets are welcome. There is a $100 pet fee per stay. The pet fee goes to the cleaning service to clean/deodorize and remove fur, etc., that the pet may leave behind.
