There is access to horse tails near by and walking distance from the cozy gem of a town. The lake is directly in front of the cabin and has public access right down the road. This is the perfect budget friendly get away for a family or a great place to lodge for hunting and fishing. Great in the summer and the winter! Enjoy the elegance of a timelessly beautiful era while staying in this National Register of Historic Places home. Also, the former hospital. This spacious 3rd level attic suite contains two large rooms (a bedroom and living space). The abundance of natural lighting, private porch, and private entrance (you will walk through host's kitchen) will make for a one-of-a-kind stay. Relax in this quiet 2 bedroom basement studio apartment attached to our home, private entrance from garage. Fully furnished kitchenette everything needed for cooking. two burner cooktop and toaster oven/air-fryer. Queen bed with adjustable positioning in one bedroom, queen bed in second bedroom. Televisions in each bedroom. Beautiful bathroom with extra lighting. Washer/dryer combo. Long term stay discounts available. If you have a pet. Please add to reservation as there is an extra fee.

Tranquil getaway with home comforts including furnished kitchen w/appliances, Farm style seating for 4, reclining loveseat, queen bed, beautiful bathroom. Cute front porch, side patio w/table for six, portable firepit. Surrounded by trees/privacy fence. Available year-round. Queen bed, linens/towels. Housekeeping not provided unless the stay is more than one week.  At that time, we will clean the linens/towels & entire space & charge an additional $25.  Same weekly pattern for extended stays.

Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

The Main

The Main is located in the heart of downtown Madison, MN. The apartment has been recently remodeled but the charming characteristics from the past are left including tall ceilings, beautiful woodwork, transome windows, and an exposed brick wall. There are 22 steps to get up to the apartment but once you are there you will enjoy the Main Street views!

The Loft

Come enjoy The Loft, a private space located above a detached garage with its own entrance. Appreciate the high end appliances and sunken shower big enough for two before falling into a cozy leather couch. This space provides a convenient location perfect for a solo traveler or a couple looking for a clean, comfortable, and stylish place to stay.
