The Stables is 2 adjoining cabins located on a 47 acre farm located next to Mayfield Dam. Relax in your private suite and look out at a view of Mt. Rainer on a sunny day. This is a perfect couples getaway. An hour from Mt. Rainer and Mt St Helens. There are many hiking trails nearby and great fishing at Mayfield Lake. Plenty of parking for your boat. Air conditioning feels good on a hot day. There is a kitchenette consisting of small refrigerator, microwave, toaster/griddle & coffee pot combo.

Activities would be hiking, day trips to Mt. Rainer, Mt. St. Helen, Lewis and Clark National Forest, and many other natural areas. Factory outlet stores in Centralia. Extensive beautiful gardens give everyone the ambiance of a very, very peaceful place. Many love to connect with the friendly farm animals. The BNB is very comfortable & private. The Gardens give the impression we are miles away from the city, but all services are within 2 miles. Just a mile off the freeway, its easy access to the salt water, walking paths & parks, restaurants, museums, stores. Only a couple hours(or less) to Rainier & Olympic National parks, the ocean, zoo, wildlife parks.

Find yourself peacefully snuggling in the swing on the front porch, listening to the birds chirping, hawk calling and frogs croaking. We are close to the airport, Amtrak station, art and culture, parks, and city center. You’ll love our retreat...the outdoor space, the comfy bed, and the amenities. Visiting mountains or coast? You can get there from here! The spacious living room with writing desk, bedroom, bath, mini-kitchen (with hot plate), patio, and private coded entrance are on the lower floor of this mid-century modern house—our family home since 1960. (P.S. There is no cleaning fee.)
