Look out for the Northern Lights/Aurora with no houses on the north side of the road to block any view of them. The home has a comfortable queen bed. Cook on the gas range with all the necessary cooking utensils available. The house has Wi-Fi, TV / Amazon Fire Stick to watch your favorite shows. Wilderness and Aurora views close to town - A charming cedar shake house perched on a bluff overlooking the Tanana River with a view of the Alaska Range mountains and northern lights when the weather permits. About 2000 square feet with 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Maximum occupancy in winter is 5 people if one person is willing to sleep on the very comfortable couch. Aurora viewable from within house if weather and aurora activity cooperate.

The little log cabin in the woods

This little log cabin gives guests an authentic Alaskan experience of "damp" (running water at the sink, heated outhouse, no shower) cabin living with all the creature comforts in a cozy spot nestled in the woods. It's close to town, but far enough away to see auroras in the dark winter skies. Close to trails and local entertainment and food, but you just might see a moose walk by.
