Fully furnished insulated yurt for the solo traveler to rest and rejuvenate. Full size bed, high speed internet and mini- kitchen. Property is a retreat center landscaped with gardens, flower beds and shaded decks. Nestled in the trees bordering national forest. Great hiking and biking trails outside our door. 10 minutes to Taos ski valley. 20 minutes to Taos plaza. Must be comfortable heating with wood stove, off grid water system, and sharing a bath house. AWD/4WD may be necessary if it snows.

It is a wonderful experience to stay in our beautiful home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by vast ranch lands. Viewing wildlife and observing nature is a favorite pastime for our guests and the wildlife is everywhere, from birds in the sky and in the water to many elk, deer and other mammals abound. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.

Cozy rustic cabin facing Eagle Nest Lake with spectacular views including Wheeler Peak, tallest in New Mexico. The cabin is about 450 sq. ft. and is fully furnished (microwave, fridge, stove, pots/pans/dishes/utensils) has a kiva fireplace, a full size bed for singles, couples or Mom and Dad with bunk beds for the kids and a TV to play games or watch videos. Fishing is just a few minutes away, and depending on the season, golf and skiing are nearby too.

This little cabin is nestled in the pines with spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. PLEASE NOTE: effective November 1, 2024, wood burning is no longer permitted anywhere in the Mountain Spirit building.
