Canal access to Halls River & Homosassa River for flats boats or pontoon boats only. Must be able to lower bimini to go under Halls River Bridge. Property includes three kayaks and one canoe.

The Lakeside River House

The cottage lies on the banks of Lake Rousseau. This is a very interesting lake. The lake is fed by the crystal clear waters of the Rainbow Springs system and the dark tannin stained waters of the Withlacoochee River. Back in the 1930's, the water shed was dammed up on its far western edge. The result was a creation of a 12 mile long lake with a river twisting through the center, all of which you will enjoy from your waters edge dock. Come and enjoy the Nature Coast right from the backyard.

Central to everything the area has to offer whether it is hiking, kayaking, tubing, golf, scalloping, fishing, scuba diving, biking, or even mermaids. The house is secluded and quiet. The neighborhood is not built out in this area. You will have to drive to any activity or to get supplies. The street in front of the house is a little rough but not bad

FL is in a drought, water levels are 8ft + lower than normal. You can still enjoy fishing and kayaking on our direct waterway. Watch the sunrise and sunset over the water on a private dock. This property has direct access to multiple lakes prime for bass fishing. Bring your boat and launch from the private community boat ramp or public ramp and dock up at our dock house. We are located one mile from downtown Inverness and its shops, restaurants, parks, and bike trails.
