Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

Cottage with Private Allegheny River Access

"Bearly Affordable", located along the Allegheny River nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The cottage offers private river frontage for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Cottage sleeps 6 and has most of the amenities of home including air conditioning, forced air heat, wood stove, well and septic. Additional staying quarters located in an adjacent cedar Cub House which has 4 beds, 2 lofts, and air conditioning. Cub House Closed for Season. Opens back up April 1st.

Rustic Off-Grid Forest Cabin - Independence Lodge

Independence Lodge is a unique property in the forest, 2 miles from the Clarion River and 4 miles from Cook Forest State Park! This is an off-grid type experience for adventure seekers and nature lovers. Who needs WiFi or indoor plumbing when you have majestic pine forest and the spirit of adventure?! Reconnect to nature w/ a hot outdoor shower and heated outhouse. Warm up next to the indoor propane fireplace. Cabin has cell service, kitchenette, electric & well water plus water cooler.

Cozy fireplace, well-stocked kitchen, hammock chairs in the trees. Minutes from Allegheny National Forest trails & river adventures. Note: Summer: No AC currently. Winter (Nov-Mar): Steep private stone road/driveway. Small cars not recommended. Book at your own risk if snow/ice expected.

Riverfront - Whittled Duck River Camp

The Whittled Duck River Camp property features 200 feet of river frontage, a deck overlooking the Clarion River and everything you need for a peaceful retreat. The cabin is located upstream from both Clear Creek and Cook Forest State Parks, 15 min from Loletta and next door to the Allegheny National Forest. Here you will find quiet and seclusion while staying close enough to enjoy all the recreational opportunities you love! Landline can be used by guests unable to get cell coverage.

Cozy cabin located in a country setting next to Bear Creek Wines. Located in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest and an excellent location for your outdoor adventures or weekend getaway. Just a short drive to many local attractions including: Brush Hollow Hiking/Ski Trail, Marienville ATV Trail, the Ridgway Rifle Club, the Clarion River (Pennsylvania River of the Year), Benezette Elk Viewing Area (1 hour drive), Kinzua Dam/State Park, Cook Forest State Park, and many more!

Kick back and relax in our peaceful, cozy space. We have a wooded area that surrounds the back and side of the house. Come and enjoy a warm fire up in the woods under the beautiful Hemlock trees, as well as the bubbling, steamy hot tub tucked under our pergola behind the house. Welcome to Skyline Serenity, where heaven meets earth. This brand-new cabin was constructed on the side of Heartwood Mountain, overlooking the Pennsylvania forests for miles and miles. Creekside Cabin has all the modern amenities you want in a secluded location that's convenient to everything Cook Forest and the Clarion River have to offer. Check us out on FB/IG @creeksidecabin788 The cabin does not have WiFi and cell phone reception is spotty in the area. Well-behaved furry friends can stay at the cabin for a fee of $25 per pet (max 2). During the winter months we highly recommend using vehicles with 4WD/AWD to access the property.

Boo Bear Cabin Cook Forest

Escape to the heart of Cook Forest, Pennsylvania! Just 2 minutes from the scenic Clarion River and all the trails, sights, and serenity the forest has to offer. Nestled on 3 private acres down a quiet gravel road, this cozy cabin offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. It comfortably sleeps 4–6 guests (max 7). Unwind in the evenings around the fire pit, or relax on the spacious covered porch while listening to the calming sounds of the forest.

Cozy Oaks Cottage

Nestled in the rolling hills of the Pennsylvania Wilds lies Cozy Oaks Cottage! This 558 sq. ft. space is the ideal spot to get away with your family and friends. Rail 66 is 75 yards from our driveway. Many restaurants are only a few minutes down the road, and we are only 15 minutes from Cook Forest. Although we can sleep up to 5 people, our place is quite small, and for maximum comfort we recommend no more than 3 people

Turkey Hollow Lodge

This fully furnished cabin sleeps 8! Lovely rustic cabin to enjoy the peace and total privacy of Cook Forest in Northwestern Pa. 2 bedrooms with one Queen bed, 2 sets of Bunk Beds and a full sleeper sofa. Bath with shower, full kitchen. Including drip coffee pot with filters. Charcoal grill. Remote, but minutes from activities and shops. WiFi and DVD Player. Near hiking trails thru the state park.
