From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is comfortable, light, spacious & warm. It has a modern clean feeling coupled with the charm of a traditional Scalpay island home.

Taigh John is a recently renovated semi-detached holiday home in the village of Cluer, in the Bays of Harris. The house has been fully renovated by property owner John, who spent many years bringing the house back to life. It was built originally by John's Great Grandfather. The house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with bath and power shower. A full equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating overlooking patio doors with views out to sea. Open plan living area with seating and dining area.

Manish Cottage

Well maintain Hebridean cottage style property, on the east coast of Harris. The cottage is set up cosy for summer or winter with electric heating . Cottage has, games ,books, picnic basket and a airfyer Smart TV DVD player .Dark Skies Area Excellent area for getting off the beaten track , otters, sea eagles . Close enough to Leverburgh for trips to St Kilda and all other amenities. Cottage on the shoreline with lovely bay. The east side of Harris is single track roads with passing places.

Two bedroom wooden cabin overlooking the Minch

A unique small house on a private croft hosted by Grant & Lorna who are from Harris and live 300m next door to the cabin. Our cabin has 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, and a large open plan living space with kitchen. We are 10 minutes from Tarbert and 30 mins from the west side beaches. A wood burning stove will keep you warm in the evenings. A large wrap around balcony is lovely for sitting outside and watching the seals and otters in the bay, we do get midges so repellant is advised.

Tranquil Cottage with Stunning Sea Views

Number 6 is a cosy cottage just 4 miles from Tarbert. The house is in an elevated position which has stunning views of the sea and the old whaling station. It has a cosy sun room with a wood burner, as well as outdoor seating so you can take in the view in style. We offer week long stays, Friday to Friday, March to October. We then move to shorter stays (min of 3 nights) from November to February. The house also benefits from free WiFi and a local produce welcome hamper on arrival.

8 miles from Tarbert. 15 minutes’ drive to the machir on the west coast. Providing 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a downstairs toilet/shower room. Wi-Fi and Freesat in the living room and Skyplus in the lounge. Equally suitable for couples or family groups. South facing. Sun on the patio all day, sunsets over the hills in the evening. Pets welcome by arrangement.
