Our home is located on a historic Colchester Farmhouse that was originally built in 1900. Completely remodeled for your comfort!

Selkie’s Shed

This guest house has been built and designed by my husband and I. It sits behind our house with private walking/biking trails right out your door. The design is modern with natural warm colors and tucked away in the trees. The loudest noise you will hear are the owls hooting and a faint distant train whistle two times a day. Our mission is to create an atmosphere of tranquility, calmness and peace. We offer mother nature outside your door with easy access to all the activities you desire.

This spacious 2 Bedroom Suite with private entrance, full bath, sitting area with TV, bistro table is located on the second floor of our home. No shared spaces. Great views of farm lands, the Adirondack Mountains, and beautiful sunsets. Conveniently located only 4.5 miles from Burlington Airport and within 3.5 miles of 4 local colleges. Local Ski Resorts and Green Mountain hiking are only 30-60 min away.

This newly built modern rustic mother-in-law private cottage offers a convenient place to stay while exploring the Burlington/Winooski area. The cottage is nestled in my backyard on a quiet street in vibrant Winooski. The home is a 10 minute drive to downtown Burlington & the airport, and a short walk to the river, several cafes, restaurants, pubs, nature areas, and a brewery. Winooski is referred to as “the Brooklyn of Burlington” because of the foodie scene and rich cultural diversity.

Ideal for those seeking comfort, safety & nature, but 9 miles to Burlington and 5 mins to shops & restaurants. We are in a part of Essex that is rural (the village, Essex Junction is more of a city.)

Perfect for a family reunion or relaxing getaway. Kid's Kayak, beach chairs, fire pit, soccer goal, Kan Jam, basketball hoop, ping pong table, and game room with pop a shot, & foosball table. **Please note: This is in a residential neighborhood and NOT a party house. Easy access to VAST snowmobile trails, within an hour's drive to 3 ski areas (Stowe, Smuggler's Notch and Jay Peak), X-Country skiing right outside the door or in Craftsbury or Stowe. Elmore State Park is 3 miles away. Hiking trails and kayaking abound!

We are 25 mins to Mad River Glen, Bolton Valley and Burlington (Lake Champlain beaches) and 10 mins to Sleepy Hollow Ski and Bike Center, Camel's Hump Nordic Ski Area, Frost Brewery and Stone Corral. Enjoy complete privacy and peaceful surroundings of nature with the full amenities of a home.
