This is a quaint sleeping studio bunkhouse located at Rustic Superior private campground, one mile off of Hwy 61 in Hovland, Minnesota. Includes futon, chairs, fire pit & panoramic view of the property and Lake Superior. Perfect for the individual or couple looking to get away from everything. This simple 12 x 12 foot north woods structure is well-maintained & clean. Penny's Peak is a visually secluded rustic campsite. Guests have full access to our groomed hiking trails and stunning wilderness.

Hungry Hippie Hostel now has Camping + Glamping! Our canvas wall tents are waterproof and super cozy! Our version of Glamping includes: the 8'x16' tent, decking (with screened in porch), comfy mattress and breathtaking views of Lake Superior. Also included- a campfire ring + picnic table at each of our glamping sites. Tents are located within 200 feet of our brand new shower house. The shower house is divided into mens & womens spaces. Each space having two showers, three toilets and two sinks.

At the end of a foot path you'll find yourself at this charming off-grid cabin set in the forests of the Lake Superior bluff. This quaint cabin is filled with windows bringing views of the surrounding wood. It features a polished/rustic interior complete with well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and wood stove. Fall River access and guests now have access to a new wood-fired sauna and off grid-shower house.

The Lena dome is 5 minutes from downtown Grand Marais where you can eat at amazing restaurants, hear great live music, enjoy time by Lake Superior, and explore beautifully curated local shops. Our Little House is located just 3 short miles from beautiful down town Grand Marais. There are several stores where you can purchase supplies, a number of fun shops to meander through, good food, great coffee friendly people and of course, Beautiful Lake Superior! There are several hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobile trails as well as lakes for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. We are only 20 mi from Lutsen, and 3 from the North House Folk School to visit or take in a class.
