Enjoy a quiet riverfront stay in the heart of the Hood River Valley. 500 sq ft apartment in a Craftsman timber-frame home with private entrance, parking, kitchenette, shared laundry, and the sound of the river, with some distant traffic noise from Tucker Road. Sit on the porch and relax watching the Hood River. Perfectly located for recreation or wine tasting, 40 mins. to skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows, and 10 to downtown breweries. We chose to share our guest house primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guest house for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guest house with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. Private A-Frame (for 4 people) and separate studio bedroom/bathroom behind the garage (for 2 people.) Please note: the studio must be requested in advance. The A-Frame is on the edge of the Mount Hood National Forest. • Walk or drive to the Salmon River trailheads and Salmon River Slab. • 15 min to French's Dome. • 20 to 30 min to Timberline and Mount Hood Meadows, x-country and snow-shoeing at Trillium or Teacup. The Bear's Den, studio with kitchen and pond/creek

Our wonderful guest house is a cozy studio with a queen bed, kitchen, sofa, and dining table in one large room. There is a bathroom with shower. This is a second floor apartment over the detached garage, we live in the main house next door. The property is very secluded well off the road with no other houses nearby and borders the National Forest. Enjoy the spring fed pond in the front yard, a hike along the Sandy river, or a 15 min drive to ski resorts.

The Woodlands Hideout

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.

Cozy 700 sq. ft. rustic log cabin with stunning views of Mt. Hood and Zigzag Wilderness. Just 3.3 miles from Highway 26, a perfect mix of privacy and easy access year-round. The cabin sleeps up to six guests comfortably. With hiking trails, ski resorts, and Mt. Hood attractions just minutes away, adventure is never far. Pets are welcome with a $75 fee per pet, so the whole family can enjoy this peaceful mountain retreat!
