Rose Cottage is a 150 year old Grade II listed property, located within the Durham City conservation area. It is ideally situated for guests to enjoy the many attractions of this historic city, including the Unesco World Heritage site of Durham Cathedral and Castle, Durham University Museums and Gardens, riverside walks and an abundance of eateries. Rose cottage offers guests stylish, comfortable accommodation with quality furnishings, a small furnished courtyard and complimentary guest parking.

The Annexe, Durham City

This recently converted self contained private detached modern annexe is located within 15 minutes walk of Durham City centre with its world class University and Cathedral and is great for both holiday and business travellers. The Annexe is in the grounds of our larger house occupied by us, situated at the end of a private road near to Durham City centre. The annexe is totally self contained and has its own allocated parking space next to it together with private decked area with Cathedral views

A detached stone cottage in the heart of the north Pennines. Stunning views. With fantastic footpaths, cycle routes straight from the door for those with plenty of energy as it is hilly. Great base for exploring the area. With pubs and coop 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. Recently renovated to a high standard but still feels characterful and cosy. Underfloor heating, induction hob and super insulated. 2 well behaved dogs only are allowed for a small fee. Sorry no other pets allowed.

The Studio is in the perfect location for visiting the beautiful city of Durham. Located just a few minutes walk from the railway station, the bus station and the restaurants, shops and bars of the city centre. You will have your own entrances front and rear. Inside you'll find a comfy king size bed, en-suite shower and toilet and a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities; toaster; toasted sandwich maker and a portable dual plug-in hob. A charming, and beautiful cottage set within a courtyard in an idyllic ten acre woodland location. The cottage is every inch the beautiful setting for a romantic break away. The outside area of the cottage includes a raised platform & fire pit for your own use. Whilst it appears to be set in a remote rural location, it is in fact incredibly well-situated to be able to visit local attractions whilst being easily accessible from the main road: A1M . “A hidden gem definitely worth staying here!”

Kipling Cottage, Tiny One Bedroom House and Garden

This very old, very tiny cottage offers guests a truly cosy place to stay. You’ll find everything you need in just 18 square metres! Ideal for couples and walkers to enjoy a getaway amongst the beautiful countryside of the North Pennines. The approach to Kipling Cottage is stunning and gives you your first glimpse of the beautiful rolling countryside. Please note that the cottage is not suitable for toddlers/small children, and all children must be declared during the booking process.

Jessie's Hut

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

Our house is perfect for those wanting to live in a semi rural part of our region, with a hive of local amenities close-by. With easy access to major road networks and transport links from our home, We are in an ideal location for commuting to or exploring the nearby Cities of Durham, Sunderland and Newcastle which are bursting with culture and attractions. To the East we have the coastal town of Seaham Harbour, to the West we have Beamish Museum, County Durham and Northumberland

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.

Dunelm Studio, Durham City

Comfortable studio apartment for two. In great location a pleasant 10 minute walk, via the riverside from the historic city centre, with its many attractions and numerous options for shopping and entertainment. Could accommodate baby if necessary and I will provide travel cot and high chair if required at no extra cost. However, guests must provide own bedding and other requirements for baby feeding etc.
