The place is located in a historic mansion build by A Saxon family at the beginning of the 20th century. In 24 km there is the Saint Anna lake that is the only crater lake in Romania. Or if you want only a short visit the village of Valea Zālanului. In 2008, the Prince of Wales bought the property of the former county, which was composed of several buildings, and is surrounded by hills full of flowers and forests. You can visit the King’s Retreat Valea Zālanului. In about 21 km there is a spa resort called Bálványos. Grand Hotel Balvanyos enjoys a tranquil location surrounded by forests.
