Rosie's Studio

Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

Willowpond cottage~ tranquil horse farm by the sea

Adults only, comfy spacious cottage on a private setting! Close driving distance to parks, hiking, art and culture, great views, restaurants & the beaches. A light breakfast of organic granola and fruit in the fridge is offered, as well as teas, coffees, etc. The seaside farm is down the driveway where horses, sheep, chickens, cats, and a dog live. Feel free to wander. Come have a taste of West Ganges with amazing sunsets, Mt. Erskine hiking, Earth Candy market and Wild Cider, all nearby.

Nearby, you’ll find charming farms and restaurants. The closest bus stop is 2 km away. Your suite includes a fridge, microwave, Keurig, and kettle for basic meal prep. No smoking or scented products, please!

The light filled farmhouse with cathedral ceilings has exquisite pastoral views of Glenora (Valley of Gold). No wonder it is called Golden Valley House! Visit the farm-to-table restaurant by day (Friday-Sunday from Mar-Sept.) or stargaze at night. Watch the farmers tend the vegetables while you cook up a meal in the spacious open kitchen. A countryside retreat overlooking pastures with both wildlife and horses. Enjoy a relaxing getaway at Prancing Pony located on a 37 acres farm kitty-corner to Hemer Provincial Park. The geodome lodging includes a queen size bed, and 3 piece bathroom. There's a microwave, mini fridge, sink, and outside is a BBQ. There's a deck to lounge in the sun, a gazebo sun shelter, and a fire pit. In the evening, frogs serenade you from the nearby pond.
