The Old Lewis County Jail at St. Drogo's house is part of a revitalization and repurposing of the county's old jail. In addition to this residence, St. Drogo's house has a coffee roastery / coffee bar as well as an artisanal bakery located on the first floor. Wake up to the smell of freshly baking croissants and espresso! Lowville is in the geographical center of Lewis County. We're a stone's throw from the Adirondacks, the Black River and the Tug Hill. The cabin is situated upon 1.5 acres of beautiful Adirondack woodland surrounded by 13,000 acres of state land in the Western Adirondack Mountains with the Oswegatchie River approximately 100 yards from the front door. The immediate area is great for hiking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and exploring. Snowmobile right from the door to Lewis County C8 accessing all beautiful trails to anywhere in the state.

You're just 2 miles down the road from Five Ponds Wilderness area, with well over a hundred thousand acres of public land. Also, enjoy the ATV and Snowmobile trails. C8 and C5 trails are almost on your doorstep!
