Mount Pleasant Cabin is located among beautiful woods and farmland. It is off a gravel side road which gives you lots of peace and quiet. A covered bridge nearby and wildlife add to the experience. Tuscarora State Forest and Colonel Denning State Park have nice hiking trails. Blain is the closest town where you will find Fowlers Hollow Park, Kings Bakery, Earth’s Delights, Conoco View Dairy, Blain Market, and Wise Dry Goods. Welcome all nature lovers, hikers, hunters, and skiiers! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin next door to Pinchot Park, Ski Roundtop, and state gamelands. Just a short drive to all amenities in York and Harrisburg but you feel like you're in the woods away from it all. Wildlife is everywhere. We frequently see deer, turkey, and foxes. We are also pet friendly with a fenced in back acre. If you want to visit Gettysburg and Hershey, we are centrally located.

The White Pine Cabin is the perfect getaway for couples, friends, retreats, and families with older children. Just a few minutes from the beautiful Michaux State Forest, 20 minutes from Shippensburg University, and 30 minutes from Historic Gettysburg. This home is not equipped for small children due to the large open staircase.

Hiking nearby at Colonel Denning State Park, Audubon Hawk Watch, Opossum Lake and Little Buffalo State Park. Outdoor fire pit next to the creek and propane fire pit on the back porch for rainy days. PLEASE NOTE - the cabin is in the woods, you will encounter bugs and animals.

A perfect place to get away from the stresses of life to relax and unwind . You Can have a seat on the large porch overlooking the Conodoguinet creek and enjoy watching nature , watch your kids playing and splashing in the creek , make dinner with the BBQ grill on the back patio or be just plain lazy ! There is no tv at this place , our goal is to have our guests enjoy nature and in this way be refreshed and ready to go back to work.

Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.
