This summer home is located at the head of Herring Cove; there is 48m of waterfront. Have fun exploring, roaming the rocks or kayaking the Cove of this private shore. We have a kayak for your pleasure. Enjoy the spectacular view from the hot tub or the spacious deck. Herring Cove has much to offer with its hiking, sight seeing, simply sitting at the dock, or visiting our popular Pavia Cafe. It is a 15 minute drive to Downtown. This is a great spot for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.

The house is 1300 ft2. There is a heat pump for heating and cooling, the woodstove is not for guest use.

The Ravine

Welcome to the Ravine! This is a self contained guest suite with its own entry. It contains all you will need including a large bed-sitting area, full 3 piece bath, queen size bed, sofa, TV, kitchenette, breakfast nook and lovely little deck looking out towards the Maples and to Lake Banook - famous with paddlers, kayakers and rowers from around the world. You'll feel like you're in the country in this quiet corner of our garden, just a pitter patter from the lake.

Enjoy beautiful sunrises over the lake, and breathtaking sunsets on one of the many nearby beaches along the Marine Drive of Nova Scotia. Located on the Blueberry Run Trail, there's plenty of amazing views to take in and make you fall in love with the historical, picturesque fishing village of Seaforth. Tiny home/art studio is anything but ordinary with abundant light & original art. The exposed wood is restored from the original ‘40s building. There is an economic European style bathroom. A steep ladder takes you to the cozy loft with a comfortable queen sized bed & nooks to sit & read/meditate. Min walk to Chocolate Lake. Close to Long Lake, ocean front parks & hikes. Bus stop & 24 hr store across the street. 10 min drive downtown. Relax in an Arial Yoga hammock.
