We're excited to host you at our River Retreat Home. This home is tucked away on a quiet road where you can truly play, relax and recharge. You will find a beautiful trail that lead you to our picturesque river with endless boulders! There you will find two large decks. The home gives you amazing sunrises and sunsets. Our hope is that you love all part of your stay from the quiet stillness of the trees, to animals/bird watching, to enjoying and playing in the river and stargazing at the open sky

Riverfront Cottage - Amazing Views & King Bed

Get away from it all in this stylish, studio cottage. Enjoy amazing views of the foothills and Tule River. Take a nap in the hammock, float peacefully in the river, or explore our wild 10 acres. In the evenings, enjoy stargazing or conversation at the fire pit. Our property is secluded, yet only 10 minutes from the main highway. We are in between Sequoia Forest (east) and Sequoia Park (north), with about an hour drive to each. We love to host remote workers/traveling health care providers.

Welcome to your private guest suite, created from a thoughtful garage conversion that’s attached to our home. You’ll have your own entrance with driveway parking right next to the door( check-in). The suite is set in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, giving you privacy while still being part of a family home. For comfort, air conditioning and heating are centrally controlled from our side of the home. We keep the temperature within 72 - 76 summer. Gladly adjust to your comfort.

GG’s Backhouse

This studio is located 20 miles northwest of Bakersfield (10 minutes from the 99 Freeway using hwy 46 turnoff) and 20 minutes from Interstate 5 Freeway. It is perfect for the out-of-town worker on assignment or guest that is visiting family in the area. PLEASE VIEW THE PICTURES VERY CAREFULLY. OUR PLACE DOES REQUIRE YOU TO CLIMB THE LADDER TO GET TO THE BED.

Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, our two-bedroom cottage is in a farm setting with plenty of room to roam. Sequoia Park is 1 and a half hours drive. Grocery shopping is 10 minutes away in the town of Porterville.
