The Forest Hermitage of Turtle Haven Sanctuary

The Forest Hermitage is part of Turtle Haven Sanctuary nearby and has a specific purpose of providing inspiration and retreat for artists, writers, naturalists, and those drawn to stillness and inner contemplation, in need of rest, and renewal. The two-story structure is located in a forest grove on several wooded acres, across the road from a view of the Nooksack River and valley. This Pacific Northwest corner is renowned for its spawning salmon in season, abundant eagles, and other wildlife.

Main cabin has a queen upstairs, a full downstairs and two twins in the open loft. The studio has its own queen and kitchenette. Maximum 6 adults. You'll be staying in our brand new tiny house with views of the eagle sanctuary and within walking distance to the North Fork Eagle preserve, including trails to the Nooksack River. We are 37 miles to the ski area and 20 miles to downtown Bellingham. Perfect for skiing, bald eagle viewing, hiking, biking, dining, and of course, relaxing. Enjoy your stay!

Middle Fork Cabin

This is truly a unique cabin. Designed by architect David Neiman & featured in the book "Log Houses of the World," it combines Japanese style features & NW log-frame construction to create a truly unique experience. Included in the rental is use of the 13+ acre wooded property, including access to the middle fork of the Nooksack River. The cabin is close to the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities that the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provides.

Come enjoy our one-of-a-kind cabin in the round on Mt. Baker! A unique circular home with gorgeous wood beams and thoughtful touches throughout. Architect designed in 1986 and recently renovated to highlight the incredible design, while introducing luxuries and comforts that create a truly memorable mountain retreat. The Snowline Castle was built using elements found in Medieval castle turrets and was meant to resemble a tree stump nestled in the forest.

Cottage on Cornell Creek

This quiet, two bedroom, two bath, cozy house is located on Cornell Creek Road at mile post 31 of the Mount Baker Highway between Maple Falls and Glacier, Washington about 25 miles from Artist's Point and the Mt. Baker ski area. Pets are OK if well behaved. Raised my nightly rate since I have recently added a second bathroom, remodeled the first bathroom and Airbnb now charges the host for the service fee that was once charged to guests.
