Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

3 bedroom sandstone home built in the 1830s. Wander up the garden steps to find thick stone walls, Georgian windows, pressed tin ceiling and polished floor boards. Gas heaters for cosy winters and bathroom with bath and seperate shower. Quality stylish furnishings have been used throughout. 1 spacious bedroom downstairs, the 2 upstairs attic bedrooms are interconnecting. The garden is established and fenced for pets to stay. A short stroll to the cafes and quaint shops of south hobart.

The Bakehouse - character - history - convenience

The bake house is a unique historical building circa 1880 that has been converted into contemporary accomodation. It is part of a precinct of three buildings, all relating the same function of supporting "Watson's" Bakery in the shop facing Macquarie street (now a funky homewares shop). You get to enjoy a three bedroom house. Three bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom and toilet, living kitchen, dining and laundry downstairs. You have your own private courtyard with a picnic setting.

Nestled away in bustling North Hobart is Little Arthur. Brother to Little Elizabeth, Little Arthur has all the conveniences at your door while also providing the comforts of home. The stunning views encapsulate the River Derwent and has been know to have whales frolicking, tall ships sailing . Off street parking for 2 and close enough to walk to town.
