Anchorage Airport Base Camp

Whether you are beginning or ending your adventure, or planning to stay a while, this home is an aviators dream! Located minutes from Ted Stevens International Airport and near the Lake hood dirt strip. You can enjoy the afternoon sun on the deck while watching float planes come and go from Lake Hood, the largest sea plane base in the world. It' short walk to Earthquake park and the Cook Inlet. It doesn't matter whether you are going North or South from Anchorage the house is perfectly located.

Denali View! Sauna! 1 mile to Glen Alps/Flattop TH

Lone Pine Cottage is nestled against the Chugach State Park. Walk out the front door and explore the meadow of wildflowers below, or the forest next to the cottage which leads directly into the Chugach. The Glen Alps/Flattop Trailhead is 1 mile up the road and provides easy access to amazing hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing, climbing, and skiing adventures. Enjoy the unobstructed views of Denali/Mt. McKinley, “Sleeping Lady” (Mount Susitna), and the Anchorage skyline from 1600ft elev.

Delong House - Quiet home, close to airport

Whether a short layover or an extended stay, find comfort and style in this west anchorage home. Located 5 mins from both the airport and Kincaid Park in a quiet neighborhood and across the street from Delong Lake. Triple pane windows ensure air traffic is blocked out for a good night sleep. This Two Bedroom plus Loft (please read additional information for loft) is situated 1 block from the world famous Tony Knowles Coastal Trail that hugs the coastline of the Cook Inlet with beautiful views of the water, Anchorage skyline with moose and other Alaska animals that live in the area. Grocery stores and restaurants are just a few minutes away.

2 Bedroom Mountain Views Near Airport

Close to airport and Kincaid Park trails, enjoy panoramic views of the Chugach Mountains from the great room or the wrap around deck. The main level features a full kitchen, living & dining areas, a bathroom with walk in shower, bedroom with a king bed & a full size washer and dryer. The upper level has an additional bedroom with full size bed, & a sitting loft overlooking the main level. Occasional airplane noise. Kenai River Suite Turnagain

The Kenai River Suite is newly constructed and on the lower floor of a two unit split entry house. This beautiful unit is just being finished. More pictures to follow of kitchen, living room, dining area. Turnagain is a quiet residential area near the Anchorage International Airport and Lake Hood, a major floatplane base. Along Cook Inlet, joggers and cyclists use the Tony Knowles Coast, while large Earthquake Park has hills shaped by a major 1964 earthquake, plus wooded trails.

Nestled in a forest of Mountain Hemlocks hundreds of years old, the home is located in a quiet neighborhood only a 5-6 minute walk from the Glen Alps/Flattop Trailhead providing the most direct and easy access to Chugach State Park. There are endless possibilities for hiking, climbing, and skiing from the house. Or, if you prefer to sit and relax and read a book, the view from the deck or living room couch of the Anchorage skyline and Denali/Mt. McKinley is spectacular.
