It is built around the natural rock features of the island and is nestled in the tropical rainforest. The house is north facing with spectacular views of the Coral Sea and the neighbouring islands. We have two secluded beaches where you will often be the only people on them. The surrounding waters are pristine and rich in colour

FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

The Lake House

Wake to sunrise over the lake in this secluded tropical retreat. Beautifully designed modern Balinese-inspired house with marble tiled flooring throughout, carved wooden doors and volcanic rock walls, a unique tropical oasis in a truly unique setting. Lake views from every room of the house, effortless indoor-outdoor flow, lush tropical gardens brimming with wildlife. Close to the beach and the town centre, restaurants, shops etc. We can arrange a third (trundle) bed on request.

Heliconia Grove

Heliconia Grove is a beach cottage with plenty to offer, only two streets back from the beach front. Enjoy the outdoor bath with an evening wine or a morning coffee. The large yard is fully fenced and safe for all the family to enjoy including your furry friends. Only a short 10-min drive to Woolworths, local bars and cafes. If you want the full Island experience, be sure to catch the 20min ferry transfer from Clump Point to Dunk Island.

Beachside Retro shack

This rare find is a fully self-contained beach shack with heaps of character on a large private block. Just a 100 meter stroll to beautiful South Mission Beach and close access to coastal walking tracks and rainforest trails. Our simple, comfy retro shack has everything you need for a chilled out beachside stay. You can even bring your boat, there's plenty of room for a boat trailer on our block and river and beach boat ramps close by.
