This spacious apartment has been lovingly restored and styled by its artist owners and features their original artworks (paintings/lights). The apartment has solid oak flooring, antique Persian rugs and a combination of period French and contemporary designer furniture which contributes to the apartment's special character. A stunning set of 18th century chateau doors divide the living and bedrooms and provide the 'wow factor' of this charming find. 'Atelier 22 York' is situated in York's 'Cultural Quarter', a few minutes walk from the Yorkshire Museum, the Theatre Royal, York Art Gallery and the Minster. The city's top eateries are a stone's throw away : Roots, The Star Inn The City, Betty's, Skosh, Partisan, Le Cochon Aveugle, as well as numerous pubs and bars; a gentle stroll back home at night. The beautifully restored medieval buildings of Stonegate and the Shambles provide the perfect setting for some last minute shopping. My place is large studio apartment overlooking Driffield Canal is close to the town centre and is good for people visiting area with excellent rail and bus links. Accommodation is good for couples, small families and business travellers. The accommodation comprises of entrance, 5 star hotel shower room with toilet and WC, combined kitchen, lounge and bed area with stairs leading to second bed area. The apartment has high vaulted ceiling with orginal beams and has been completely renovated.
