There are heath and woodland walks, RSPB Minsmere and a great village pub a short walk from the hut. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the comfy beds, the wood burning stove, the dark night sky and the views across the meadow. Under 2 hours from London and an hour from Cambridge, we are 3.5 miles from the historic town of Eye, which has grocery stores, butcher's and a fantastic deli. Rural, yet under a mile away from two of the best food pubs in Mid-Suffolk, you will be staying in the heart of the East Anglian countryside surrounded by fields, woodland and wildlife.

Peacock is a beautiful Shepherd Hut hidden in the quiet woods of historic Ketteringham Hall. A superb place to explore nearby Norwich & Norfolk. The Broads & Norfolk coast are close. The hut has a king size bed, wood burning stove and ensuite bathroom with shower. There is a lovely area surrounded by trees complete with picnic table, BBQ and firepit for 'relaxing. There are 38 acres of grounds to explore plus a large lake .The Orangery Tea Room is on site serving breakfast & teas.

The Folly

We would like to welcome you to The Folly, your cosy woodland retreat away from the stresses and strain of modern life. There's plenty to see and do with access on foot to the local woodland and beach walks. Keep an eye out when you boil the kettle you just might see a wild Muntjac deer pass by....or hear the hoot of a Tawny owl as you fall asleep. Please be aware in the summer months the local amusement park is open and may be heard during the day.
