Marked trails weave around the property for early morning coffee walk or a moonlit snowshoe - courtesy snowshoes are available for guests. Deer frequent the property as well.

Your experience is enhanced with a gas grill, outdoor seating/dining table, fully outfitted kitchen, and even a clearing for campfire and stargazing. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors. Backcountry Basecamp 1

The cabin is located in Lake City directly across from the visitor center, movie theater, and post office. It was built in 2019. The cabin is 420 sq ft and includes a bathroom with large shower, a kitchen, a laundry room, two private decks, private little yard with fire pit, and parking. It is a studio type set up. It is attached but separate to a larger 1900 sq ft cabin that is also for rent.
