Situated in the heart of Keosauqua, you’ll be walking distance to restaurants, shops, and city park. Enjoy an afternoon fishing at Lake Sugema or exploring the historic Villages of Van Buren County.

Pets welcome in this sunny and cozy home! Just steps from the local dog park, and a short walk downtown. - 42” TV with most streaming services - Fully equipped kitchen including chef knives, Vitamix, and condiments - Free coffee with grinder & french press - NO CHORES! Just lock up and have a safe trip! Privacy: Guests have the entire main house. Host occupies basement unit with separate entrance. No shared spaces, and host never enters main house. Backyard is not available for guest use.

This is the smallest of 4 apartments in a beautifully restored, turn of the century home that was turned into apartments in the 1920s. Three huge sycamore trees surround the house. The fully fenced back yard is a nature retreat complete with pond and sometimes frogs. Large decks surround the back of the house with each tenant having their own share of deck and a BBQ. This cabin is nestled by the bridge across from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor fire ring. The amazing wildlife along the river is absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature, this is the cabin for you!
