The Farmhouse

Our ranch style home is decorated with farmhouse charm ,located on the edge of town. It is on Hwy 18, centrally located to several sites of interest in Fayette including Decorah, Luther College, Upper Iowa College, Clermont, Elgin. This is a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath with two living rooms, full size kitchen and Dining room and a game room which includes pinball machine, ski ball, and a pac-man multi game machine. This is a NO animals allowed property. Contractor reservations need prior approval w/host

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. 3 bedrooms on the main level with one extra-large bedroom in the basement along with a full bathroom. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have TVs, as well as the living room. Comfortable bedding and an abundance of bathroom towels to make your stay easy. The house is located on a large corner lot with a large yard and old growth trees. Full kitchen with all the kitchen utensils, coffee pot, pots/pans and appliances.

Snuggle up in this cozy little home away from home. Adventure out on a short walk to our downtown area, or stay in & kick your feet up. Enjoy a scenic drive from this central location to visit popular surrounding towns such as Decorah (home to Luther College) or Fayette (home to Upper Iowa University). This home consists of a living room, dining room, full kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower, laundry room and bedroom on the main level with a bedroom & sitting area upstairs. NO SMOKING PLEASE

Authentic Grain Bin in the middle of a corn field!

Authentic 19' grain bin has a loft with 2 full-size beds, comfy living space with heat & A/C, bathroom with 3'x5' shower, kitchenette, vaulted ceiling. WiFi available but you’re basically inside a tin can in a cornfield so reception is NOT GREAT (hence NO TV.) A gas grill, picnic table & 4 Adirondack chairs surround your fire pit. All on the grounds of a winery & vineyard surrounded by 300 acres of corn! Volga Lake State Rec Area adjacent w/a lake for paddling, fishing, & miles of trails.

With your stay you will have 4 full bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, laundry, a full kitchen with a dishwasher, the Great Room, gas fireplace, two dining areas, and large outside deck space, which includes a gas grill, to enjoy the starry nights and beautiful views. The Mink Creek Lodge has miles of maintained trails, a fire ring with fire wood, and the Mink Creek is a stocked trout stream. The host and hostess live in the walk out basement. No areas or entrances are shared with the guest.

The EJ House 4 Bedroom 1 1/2 Bath

The EJ house was built in 1905 with the original woodwork, stain glass windows and front door. The house is a little over 1600 sqft of living space. The house has 4 bedrooms with three queen beds and one full size bed. Guests will find it to be surprisingly spacious and a comfortable place to work, play or relax. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the house. The house has central air for those warm summer days or enjoy the large back deck. The woodwork is original to the house.

The Cozy Corner Duplex

The Cozy Corner Duplex is equipped with all the amenities needed for modern living. The full kitchen comes with basic cooking utensils, Having a tea kettle and coffee maker readily available means you can enjoy your preferred beverages any time of day. For entertainment, a smart TV with access to Netflix and Hulu allows you to relax and enjoy your favorite shows and movies. The keypad entry provides the freedom to come and go as you please, enhancing your sense of independence.

Cushion Cabins East

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

Cozy Lakeview Chalet

This Cozy Country Cabin is located 2 miles outside Wadena and offers a peaceful getaway with private water access, a wrap-around deck, and outdoor fun. Inside, you’ll find a loft with a queen bed (spiral staircase access), bunk beds, a sleeper sofa, full kitchen, and walk-in shower. Enjoy the use of kayaks, canoe, and a rowboat—life jackets provided. Rural setting with self-check-in. Expect charm, nature, and a truly unplugged experience.

Cottage on Main

This 1870’s historic cottage has been updated with a modern flare! Centrally located to restaurant’s, gas stations, a grocery store and bike path. With the Turkey River literally in your back yard the recreational possibilities are endless from fishing, floating, kayaking or hiking! We also have several ATV/UTV trails around the area. We offer private off street parking and a private fenced patio! Come stay with us in beautiful NEIA!
