Our comfortable and quiet guest cottage is set among Ponderosa pines in the Sierra Nevada foothills, 15 minutes from more than 40 Shenandoah Valley wineries. Private tastings can be arranged. The pool is private to our guests and usually open after Memorial Day. About 50 mins to ski areas. The Cottage easily accommodates 2 couples in two bedrooms, each with private bathroom. EV charging is available - additional fee. The deck is great for outside dining or just enjoying a glass of wine.

The Story Vineyard Homestead Home, Artistic Beauty in Historic Hills of Amador County. This 90 year old ranch house has been recently lovingly restored and is a gorgeous, intimate gem located in the heart of Gold Country. It is situated in a field overlooking 45 acres of vineyards, 4 miles outside of Plymouth, CA, on Highway 49, between Placerville and Jackson. The exposed beams and wood floors of this charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath house, make the framework for a perfect creative get-a-way.

Casita in Wine Country

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The hosts live on sight but enjoy sharing their beautiful view from this separate Casita. There is a fun 1 mile hike on the property. Only 5-10 minute drive to local wineries. The quaint town of Plymouth is a 10 minute drive which hosts Taste, a 5 Star restaurant. Black Chasm Caverns is a 30 minute drive as well as Jackson Rancheria Casino. Kirkwood Skiing is an hour drive. We have a Tesla charging station for an additional $20 a night.

Relax by the private pool during the summer months 10AM-7PM. You will be surrounded by nature, peace & quiet.

The fall colors are spectacular for a hike up scenic Highway 88! Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If your travel journeys include both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 1/2 from Tahoe)

The Farmhouse built in the late 1800’s offers three updated remodeled bedrooms each with their own private bathrooms/showers. Relax, enjoy and wash the city away in our lovely vintage claw tubs. Slip into the covers of your luxurious King and Queen size beds with fine linens. Enjoy a cozy pull out couch in the living room. Wrap around porch offers stunning vineyard/sunset views. Life is better on the farm.

Unwind at Purple Horse Ranch, a peaceful mid-century retreat on a park-like ranch near Placerville wine country and Apple Hill. With 3 bedrooms, 3 king beds, 4 twin beds, hillside views, grazing horses, outdoor lounging, and fire-pit evenings, it’s ideal for girls’ getaways, couples trips, and small groups. This is a cute second story guesthouse. Its’s very private, located on our 83+ acre vineyard/ranch. We have a 6 acre working vineyard and commercially growing Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Muscat Canelli The guesthouse has recently been up-dated and is light, airy with many up-scale features and amenities. It’s a very private setting with no immediate neighbors. There are approximately 140 wineries within a 25 mile radius of our place.
