Our cabin “The Roost” Is a two bedroom one bathroom full kitchen fully furnished piece of heaven. Come sit back and relax on one of the two patios on site, beautiful views of Boulder and Cockscomb. We are a five minute drive away from the Velvets as well as a 10 minute drive to Capitol Reef

Sweet, comfortable, 2 bedroom cabin (480 sq ft). Sweeping views of redrock and mountains. Elevation 7100. Hardwood maple floors, wood stove. Central heat/air. Fast, stable wifi. No TV. NO kitchen, exactly, but most cooking needs met. A bit small for 4 adults. Quiet. Small outdoor patio with table and chairs. Charcoal grill. A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

This is an 1800s original ranch house that has been modified to include modern amenities. This property has two beds and one bath. The kitchen features apartment-sized appliances and is stocked with basic items. This unit includes a washer and dryer, mainly because we know people come to our area to explore and get dirty. The Cabin is centrally located to ATV and hiking trails, Monroe Paragliding, Hot Springs, Hunting, and fishing.
