Welcome to The Queen’s Muse, an Art Nouveau–inspired artist retreat in historic Fort Scott, Kansas. This charming two-story space features elegant curves, floral details, and a light-filled, creative atmosphere. Wander the lush Victorian-style sculpture garden or explore nearby shops and restaurants. The Dragonfly offers a 1-bed, 1-bath studio, while The Monarch provides a 1-bed, 1-bath suite with a cozy lounge—an inviting escape where beauty and inspiration meet. The Garden is not yet completed

The Long Branch Loft

The Loft is part of a 100+ year old building that has been fully renovated giving guests a unique stay. The Loft consists of one upstairs bedroom with a king size bed, setting room, kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, bathroom with shower and washer/dryer. When entering The Loft you will see an open concept with a 15 ft ceiling and brick wall with an outline of the large back door and windows of the original building. The decor theme is local heritage with a focus on our farming community.

The K7 Depot Cabin sits directly next to a large body of water. Conveniently located 10 miles from Pittsburg and 30 miles from Joplin. THREE GUESTS MAX NO OUTSIDE GUESTS The Cabin sits approximately 100 feet from a short line railroad track. A very small train comes through an average of 2 times a day, 1 being in the middle of the night. Usually no train on Saturdays or Sundays. If you stand on the porch you might be able to get the conductor to honk his horn at you! Bank fishing is allowed

Doug and Becky We offer cabins off of 69 highway in Pleasanton, KS, near 2 lakes! We offer nightly, weekly, and monthly rentals. Each cabin is approx 250 Sq ft. Includes TV, Satellite TV, Gigabit Internet, full bath, kitchenette, grill including propane and utensils, (upon request), and a Porch with chairs and table. Community fire pit and picnic tables available. We have both a coffee maker that uses a filter and grounds, and a Keurig for your K-cups. Bring your favorite coffee! Pet Friendly!
