In esse la nonna, lo zio Nino e Peppina si trasferivano da Modica , per godersi il mare durante il periodo estivo .Qui il mare diventa straordinario compagno di viaggio, che suscita emozioni e ricordi, di partenze, di lontananze, di ritorni, ma è anche spettatore della quotidianità cittadina del borgo.
