Welcome to your private studio apartment located along "Country Roads" near Sago, WV on the scenic Buckhannon River. We are just 5 miles from Buckhannon, WV and WV Wesleyan University. Nearby recreational areas include Stonecoal Lake and Stonewall Jackson Lake. This property is our only property listed on airbnb. There is no management company, no outside cleaning company, no cleaning fee. When you contact us through airbnb you are speaking to the owners, not a management company.

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. Public lands nearby offer fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, etc. 20 minutes from the popular Stonewall Resort. (NO WIFI. AT&T & some other providers do have service)
