The home is a short walk to restaurants, including the Double Musky (voted #1 in AK), the town square & Girdwood Brewery! The home has a BBQ, and a record player with lots of classic vinyl! Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Enjoy the hot tub, collect fresh chicken eggs, and breathe forest air!

Woodsy ski chalet Girdwood

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene location. Perfect for that couples or family ski weekend get away. It’s a comfortable walk to the ski hill about 3 blocks. Two story chalet with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and one bathroom on main level and tv and games area up in the loft. In the basement of the chalet there is a mother-in-law apartment that has a seperate exterior entrance and is occasionally occupied by the owner.
