Enjoy the spectacular views and excellent fishing, including a heated fish cleaning house! Like snowmobiling? We have a snowmobile trail running directly out in front of the resort. There's no shortage of activities to enjoy year-round! There's even free use of kayaks, canoe, and non-motorized boat on premises in the summer months. On-site pontoon rental too!

Big Bear’s Den - On Lake Alexander

This spacious home is located on beautiful Lake Alexander just west of Merrill, Wisconsin. Enjoy the tranquil view year-round as you plan the many activities that this location offers. You bring the boat, and we'll supply the dock. Throw in your ski's or wakeboard, and don't forget your fishing poles! Three pound small mouth bass are not uncommon and the monster's of fresh water fish, the musky, are plentiful. Add in walleyes, crappies, northern pike and this location is a fisherman's dream!

This 2-3 bedroom, 1-2 bath cottage on Copper Lake offers a game room, hot tub, dock, kayaks, and fire pit. Let the kids fish, swim, and chase fireflies while adults relax by the lake! A separate bunkhouse adds 4 extra beds and, in warmer months, a 2nd bathroom and outdoor shower. Private, yet close to Tomahawk, Merrill, and Underdown Recreational Area for skiing, biking, snowmobiling, horseback riding and UTV/ATV. Formerly managed by Wild Rivers, now managed directly by owners.
